The newest member of the OBS team!

Owl Be Sweatin’ would like to welcome our newest employee, Staci Burkel, to our OBS family! Staci is currently a Sophomore at the University of Cincinnnati. With many things under her belt, she is busy working toward a Communication major, Marketing minor, and a focus in Public Relations as well as in Academic Internships. Between balancing a full school schedule and two jobs, Staci is also planning on studying abroad this Spring in Berlin, Germany. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Burkel graduated high school in Liberty Township at Lakota East High School in 2013. She loves doing anything outdoors such as boating, swimming, and exercising just to name a few. We are happy to have Staci in our Owl Be family. Help us bring in the new year with a new intern, new patterns and products you’re sure to sweat for!

A Little About Us —

Have you ever wanted to find the perfect headband that was affordable, stylish, fits your head and actually stays in place, but just failed to find it? We simply got tired of spending money on countless products that just didn’t work. That’s why we founded Owl Be Sweatin’ Headband Brand.

The Cincinnati-based company was started by K.C. and Mallory DeBra {a sister-in-law team} and is now run by me, Mallory DeBra!

K.C and I had been competitive athletes our entire lives and have participated in numerous sports beginning at an early age including soccer, volleyball and track, just to name a few.

During all the years of training and competing, we experienced common problems with headbands such as riding up, slipping off, headband headaches and breaking.

We found that there were many products on the market that claimed they were non-slip, but they simply weren’t. We wanted to create a product that was affordable, functional and stylish and would do exactly what it said it would. Making our headbands ADJUSTABLE was our big “ta-da” moment. With the innovative adjustable strap, you can loosen the product to your liking, avoiding that dreadful headband headache, but making it snug enough to stay put!

After countless months of hard work, testing and developing different ideas and concepts, we came up with a solution – Owl Be Sweatin’. Our business has grown very quickly and has been well-received not only in the local Cincinnati community all across United States.
